Ferrari has pulled the cover off the 2027 Amalfi Spider, a striking new grand tourer that succeeds the Roma Spider. It blends classic proportions with modern engineering and a renewed focus on everyday elegance. The result feels purpose-built for seafront boulevards and winding coast roads.

At the heart of this drop-top lies a revised 631-horsepower V8 and a five-layer fabric roof. Together, they shape a car that values both sensation and substance. Moreover, the Amalfi Spider steps into Ferrari’s “entry” tier while raising expectations for power, tactility, and refinement.

V8 Performance With Instant Response

Under the sculpted hood, the 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 comes from Ferrari’s F154 family. Engineers added 19 horsepower versus the Roma, taking output to 631 horsepower. Despite the folding roof hardware, the Spider still sprints to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds. Top speed stands at a fierce 199 mph.

To sharpen response, Ferrari developed lighter camshafts and pushed the redline to 7,600 rpm. Additionally, revised turbochargers now spin up to 175,000 rpm. As a result, the engine delivers crisp throttle reactions across a wide power band. Furthermore, low-end torque flows with a flexibility that suits fast touring as well as city work.
