Cookie policy

What we use

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. COVERCO BRANDS, SL uses a first-party preference to remember your decision and necessary technology to operate and securely administer SemanalClásico and Life in Classic.

• cc_consent: a necessary first-party cookie storing the policy version, time and independent analytics and external-media permissions. Duration: 180 days. It does not contain your name or email.
• Administration: WordPress may set technical session, authentication and preference cookies when an authorised user signs in. These are not advertising tools for readers.
• External media, optional: allowing this loads YouTube videos and other embedded providers. Although we use youtube-nocookie.com where available, connecting and playing media may send information to the provider and activate storage or cookies depending on its terms and your signed-in status.
• pll_language: a first-party preference cookie remembering the selected language. It is not used for advertising tracking. Duration: one year, renewed when browsing; you can delete it in your browser.

Google Analytics, AdSense and personalised advertising are not currently active. Direct adverts and local images do not require tracking permission. Fonts are served from our own server.

Accept, reject and change

“Accept” authorises the optional analytics and external-media categories; “Reject” keeps only necessary functionality. “Configure” lets you choose and save. External videos do not load before your choice. You can change or withdraw permission at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer, as easily as granting it. Withdrawal prevents new loads and removes embedded players from the page; it cannot delete cookies already stored by another provider, which you can remove in your browser.

Preferences are stored per domain: editions on separate domains may ask independently. We ask again if you delete cookies, the preference expires or the policy version changes. Without JavaScript, external videos remain blocked.

Further information

External cookie names and lifetimes depend on the provider and your signed-in status. See how Google uses cookies. You can also manage and delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect administration access and stored preferences.

For controller details, rights and contact information, read our Privacy policy or email [email protected].

Optional analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits, popular pages and interactions. We do not load Google Analytics or send measurements before you accept Analytics. Personalised advertising and Google Signals are disabled in our tag.

First-party _ga and _ga_* cookies last up to six months. You can reject or withdraw consent in Cookie settings; measurement stops and these browser cookies are removed. We do not send form contact details or page URL query parameters.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its privacy policy. See also Google Analytics privacy information. Consent preferences are stored for six months.

GA4 retention is configured to two months for event data and fourteen months for user data, resetting on new activity. These periods differ from cookie lifetimes and do not apply to standard aggregated reports.
